It is a delicious and hearty Indian snack which can be served as a starter, appetizer or simply evening snack. This easy bread cutlet recipe uses bread, mashed potatoes, boiled green peas and few veggies and uses shallow fry technique to make them stomach filling and healthy. A quick and easy snack recipe made of Spinach, Gram flour and basic spices. Pakoda or pakora are basically deep fried tea time snack from Indian cousine. Gram flour and all purpose flour or corn flour are main ingredients to make spinach pakoda crispy. You can use leftover spinach to make tea time snacks. Ingredients To make Chilli Oil - 1/2 cup oil - 7 to 8 whole dry kashmiri red chillies To make The Noodles - 3 tbsp oil - 1 tbsp chopped garlic (lehsun) - 3/4 cup shredded cabbage - 3/4 cup thinly sliced capsicum - 1/2 cup thinly sliced carrots - 1/2 cup bean sprouts - salt to taste - 2 cups boiled noodles - 1/2 cup schezuan sauce - 1 tbsp chilli oil , recipe above Method How to proceed to make Chilli oil 1. Heat the oil in a deep pan on a high flame till it smokes. 2. Add the chillies, cover with a lid immediately and remove from the flame. 3. Strain it using a sieve and keep aside. For the noodles 1. Heat the oil in a wok/kadhai on a high flame, add the garlic and sauté on a medium flame for 30 seconds. 2. Ingredients - 7 cheese sticks - 2 cups cooked rice - 1/4 cup finely chopped coriander (dhania) - 1/2 cup boiled and mashed potatoes - 1/4 cup cornflour - 1 1/2 tsp dry red chilli flakes (paprika) - 1 tsp dried mixed herbs - salt to taste - bread crumbs for rolling - oil for deep-frying For Serving tomato ketchup Method 1. Mash the rice using a masher in a deep bowl. 2. Add the coriander, potatoes, cornflour, chilli flakes, mixed herbs and salt and mix well using your hands. 3. Divide the mixture into 7 equal portions. 4. Flatten a portion of the potato mixture into a 75 mm. (3") diameter circle and place a cheese stick in the centre. 5.
