Today we'll learn how to make Poha. Poha or Pohe is a popular Maharashtrian snack and breakfast made with flattened rice, capsicum, tomatoes and onions. You can take vegetables as you want. It is a quick, easy and healthy recipe and  can also be taken to work. It can be had with tea. It is easy snack recipe which gets ready in just few minutes. Ingredients for Poha Poha (पोहा) – 4 cups Onion - 1 big onion finely chopped Tomato - 1 big tomato finely chopped Capsicum - 1 capsicum finely sliced Oil (तेल) – 3 to 4 tbsp Peanuts (मूंगफली)– 1 cup Curry Leaves (करी पत्ता)- 8 to 10 Turmeric Powder (हल्दी पाउडर)- 1 tsp Black Mustard seeds (राई) - 1 tsp Salt(नमक) – 1.5 tsp (or to taste) Step 1 Heat Kadhai and add 3-4 tbsp oil/ghee Step 2 Add Mustard seeds and let it splutter for a while in hot oil Step 3 Add Curry Leaves and Let it heat Step 4 Add Onion, cook for a while and then add capsicum Cook veggies for a while Add Tomatoes Step 5 Add Salt to taste Turme...

Zunka Traditional Maharashtrian and spicy, the Zunka is considered by many as a dry version of the famous pitla. Preparation Time: 15 mins  Cooking Time: 14 mins  Total Time: 29 mins Makes 4 servings Ingredients - 1 cup besan (bengal gram flour) - 2 tbsp oil (olive oil/mustard oil/ghee/or of your choice) - 1/2 tsp mustard seeds ( rai / sarson) - 1/2 tsp cumin seeds (jeera) - 1/4 tsp asafoetida (hing) - 1 tsp chopped ginger (adrak) - 2 tbsp chopped green chillies - 2 tbsp chopped garlic (lehsun) - 1 cup chopped onions - 1/4 tsp turmeric powder (haldi) - salt to taste - 1/2 cup chopped coriander (dhania) For The Tempering - 1 tbsp oil - 1/2 tsp mustard seeds ( rai / sarson) - 1/4 tsp asafoetida (hing) - 8 to 10 curry leaves (kadi patta) - 2 tsp chopped garlic (lehsun) - 2 dry red chillies (pandi) For Serving chawal bhakri Method 1. Maharashtrian Amboli

Maharashtrian Amboli 😍 Amboli is an authentic Malavani dish. It can be had in  breakfast or can be served as evening snacks too. It is an easy recipe.. healthy snacks too. Kids will love the snacks. To add your own flavors you can take Chutneys of your choice. Ingredients 1 1/2 cups rice flour (chawal ka atta) salt to taste oil for greasing and cooking Method Combine all the ingredients along with 3 cups of water in a deep bowl and mix well to get a batter of pouring consistency. Heat a broad non-stick pan and lightly grease it with oil. Pour 1/3 cup of the batter from a height in a circular motion. Cover with a lid and cook on a medium flame for 1 to 2 minutes. Remove the lid. Put little oil and turn the side and cook on a medium flame for 2 minutes.  Repeat steps 2 to 4 to make 9 more ambolis. Serve hot.
