Bread pakoda Ingredients 4 slices bread oil for deep-frying For The Aloo Masala 1 cup boiled , peeled and mashed potatoes 2 tsp oil 1/2 tsp mustard seeds ( rai / sarson) 5 to 6 curry leaves (kadi patta) 1/4 cup boiled and coarsely mashed green peas 1/4 tsp turmeric powder (haldi) 1 tsp ginger-green chilli paste 1 tbsp finely chopped coriander (dhania) salt to taste To Be Mixed Into A Smooth Batter (using 1/2 Cup Water) 1 cup besan (bengal gram flour) 1/4 tsp turmeric powder (haldi) 1/2 tsp chilli powder a pinch of asafoetida (hing) salt to taste For Serving meetha chutney teekha chutney sukha lehsun ka chutney Method For the aloo masala 1. Heat the oil in a deep non-stick pan and add the mustard seeds. 2. When the seeds crackle, add the curry leaves and sauté on a medium flame for a few seconds. 3. Add the potatoes, green peas, turmeric powder, ginger-green chilli paste, coriander and salt, mix well and cook on a medium flame for one minute. 4

Dahi bhalle chaat is one of the most refreshing street food in India. Deep-fried urad dal dumplings served dredged in chilled sweet yogurt and delicious chutneys. Today I am sharing a recipe of macroni. Let us see first what a macroni is. Macaroni is dry pasta shaped like narrow tubes. Made with durum wheat, macaroni is commonly cut in short lengths; curved macaroni may be referred to as elbow macaroni. A yummy upma made with Puffed rice makes for an interesting snack or breakfast recipe KURMURE KA UPMA Ingredients 10 cups puffed rice (kurmura) 2 tbsps oil 1 tsp mustard seeds ¼ cup roasted peanuts 1 medium onion, finely chopped 10-12 curry leaves 1 medium green capsicum, finely chopped  2-3 green chillies Salt to taste 1 lemon juice Method 1. Place a strainer over a bowl, put the puffed rice into the strainer and pour over it so they become moist. 2. Heat oil in a non-stick pan, add mustard seeds and let them splutter. Add peanuts and onion and sauté till the onion turns translucent. Add curry leaves  and mix well. Add capsicum and mix well. 3. Finely chop green chillies and add.  Add puffed rice and mix well. Chikki Ice Cream 🍦 - a great way to use leftover chikki!  For The Ice-cream 2 1/2 cups milk 1 tsp warm milk 5 tbsp sugar 1 tbsp cornflour 1/4 tsp cardamom (elaichi) powder a few saffron (kesar) strands 3/4 cup fresh cream  For The Chikki 1/2 cup sugar 1/4 cup chopped pistachios 1/4 cup chopped almonds (badam) oil to grease Method For the ice-cream Combine the saffron and warm milk in a small bowl, mix well milk and keep aside. Combine the cornflour and ½ cup of milk in a bowl and mix well. Keep aside. Boil the remaining 2 cups of milk and sugar in a deep non-stick pan. Add the cornflour-milk mixture, mix well and cook on a medium flame for 15 minutes, while stirring continuously. Add the cardamom powder and saffron-milk mixture and mix well. Cool completely. Once cooled, add the fresh cream and mix well.
