Ingredients

For The Stuffing

- 1 tbsp butter
- 1/2 cup finely sliced onions
- 1/2 cup finely sliced cabbage
- 1/2 cup finely sliced capsicum
- 1 cup finely sliced tomatoes
- 2 tsp chilli-garlic paste
- 1 tsp chilli powder
- 1/2 tsp garam masala
- salt to taste
- 1 tbsp finely chopped coriander (dhania)
- Other Ingredients
- 2 cups dosa batter
- 8 tsp butter for cooking
- 1 cup grated processed cheese

For Serving

1. Coconut chutney
2. sambhar

Method

For the stuffing

1. We will heat the butter in a deep non-stick pan, add the onions and saute on a medium flame for a 1 minute.

2. Then add the capsicum and cabbage and saute on a medium flame for a 1 minute.

3. Now time to add the tomatoes, chilli powder, chilli-garlic paste, garam masala and salt, mix well and cook on a medium flame for 3 minutes, while mixing and mashing it occasionally.

4. Add the coriander and mix well.

5. Now will divide the stuffing into 4 equal portions and keep it aside.

How to proceed

1. Heat a non-stick tava (griddle), sprinkle a little water on it (it should sizzle immediately) and wipe off using a piece of cloth or a tissue paper.

2. Pour a big ladleful of the batter on the tava (griddle) and spread in a circular motion to make a 225 mm. (9”) diameter circle.

3. Spread 2 tsp of butter evenly over it and cook on a medium flame for 2 minutes.

4. Spread a portion of the prepared stuffing evenly over the dosa, sprinkle ¼ cup of cheese and cook on a medium flame for 2 minutes.

5. Cut the dosa vertically into 3 portions using a pizza cutter or a sharp knife and roll each portion tightly.

6. Repeat above steps 1 to 5 to make 3 more dosas.

7. Serve immediately with coconut chutney and sambhar.
