Difference between JOB and BUSINESS
Today I am writing about job and business. What are the difference between job and a business. Before moving ahead, I will write some lines about job and few lines on business.
What is a job?
A group of corealtive tasks related by similarity of functions to be done by a person in exchange of money.
When performed by an employee in an exchange for pay/money/salary, a job consists of duties, responsibilities, and tasks that are defined and specific, and can be accomplished, quantified, measured, and rated. From a wider perspective, a job is synonymous with a role and includes the physical and social aspects of a work environment. Often, individuals identify themselves with their job or role as a supervisor, team lead, manager.. etc.
There are different roles of people in a company. Hierarchy is made to ease the work pressure and responsibilities of employees are assigned to complete tasks.
Now I will write few lines on business.
What is a business?
Business is an activity of making money by selling goods, producing goods, selling services, Any activity or enterprise entered into for profit can be defined as business. It does not mean it is a company, a corporation, partnership, or have any such formal organization, but it can range from a street peddler to General Motors.
Business does not relate that it should have many employees or workers. A business can be small or it can be worldwide.
Every business requires some form of investment and enough customers to whom its output can be sold on a consistent basis in order to make a profit.
Businesse can be privately owned, not-for-profit or state-owned.
All of us need food, clothing and shelter. We also have many other household requirements to be satisfied in our daily lives. We met these requirements from the shopkeeper. The shopkeeper gets from wholesaler. The wholesaler gets from manufacturers. The shopkeeper, the wholesaler, the manufacturer are doing business and therefore they are called as Businessman.
