Potatoes in harissa sauce
I am sharing recipe to make potato in harissa sauce. It looks awesome and tastes more awesome. It is an easy snacks and can be used as a party Starter.
To make this snacks we need following ingredients
Ingredients
2 cups boiled baby potato - cut into half pieces
oil for deep-frying
1 tbsp oil
1/2 tsp roughly chopped garlic (lehsun)
1/2 cup chopped spring onions whites and greens
2 tbsp harissa sauce
1 1/2 tbsp tomato ketchup
a pinch of salt
1 tsp lemon juice
For The Garnish
1 tbsp finely chopped spring onion greens
Method
Heat the oil for deep-frying in a deep non-stick pan; deep-fry the potatoes till they turn golden brown in colour from all the sides. Drain on an absorbent paper. Keep aside.
Heat the oil in a broad non-stick pan, add the garlic and spring onion whites and greens and sauté on a medium flame for 1 minute.
Add the harissa sauce, tomato ketchup, little salt and 1 tbsp of water, mix well and cook on a medium flame for 1 minute, while stirring occasionally.
Add the deep-fried potatoes, mix gently and cook on a medium flame for 2 minutes, while stirring occasionally.
Add the lemon juice and toss well.
Serve immediately garnished with spring onion greens.
